The “Virtual Address in Spain” service allows you to receive goods purchased from European online stores at our warehouse in Spain, after which we forward the consolidated parcel to the recipient's address anywhere in the world.
How does the virtual address work?
To use a virtual address in Europe, follow these steps:
- Register on the Demica website. After registration and verification, you will be assigned a personal delivery address at our warehouse in Spain.
- Place orders in any European online store, specifying our Spanish warehouse address as the delivery address. You may order items from different stores and consolidate them into a single parcel at the service’s warehouse.
- Receive a notification in your user area once your items arrive at our warehouse.
- Pay the shipping cost and service fee for processing the parcel. Once the payment is completed, your purchase process is finalized. You will receive a receipt and a tracking number to monitor the shipment.
Advantages of a virtual address
A European shipping address is in demand for several reasons:
- First, you can order products from European online stores even if they do not ship to your country or region.
- Second, you can reduce shipping costs. You do not pay for delivery from the store to the warehouse address. In addition, consolidating goods from different stores into a single shipment allows you to avoid paying separate delivery fees for each item.
- Third, you can benefit from discounts, promotions, and coupons offered by European online stores.
Another important benefit is control over the delivery process. You can track the status of your parcel at every stage through your user area on the Demica website.
Important information
Before using the virtual address service, please note the following:
- For new customers, independently purchased items will be shipped only under the user’s name provided during registration for the first order.
- Due to customs regulations, a parcel may be delayed, inspected, or subject to taxes. This depends on the declared value, weight, and contents of the shipment.
- If the store is located outside Spain, please contact us before making a purchase to explain why shipping to our virtual address is more convenient than using a local intermediary in the country where you are shopping.
- In some cases, you may be required to provide your store account login details. Please consider this when registering with the retailer.
- The total purchase amount must not exceed €250.
Customs authorities may apply additional control measures to protect national interests, prevent smuggling, and enforce intellectual property rights. As a result, they may request additional information about the shipment, such as invoices, item descriptions, prices, or weight. In some cases, the parcel may be opened for inspection.
